In 2004, we entered our first grilling competition at the Sussex County Fairgrounds called Champion of the Grill. Champion of the Grill is a fun filled day of grilling, singing and old fashion cars. We used to compete in the amateur division of the grilling competition because we did not own a restaurant. However, now we will be competing in the professional division. This is how it works; there are two division; amateur and professional. Each division has categories such as beef, chicken, ribs, wild game and many more. For each category there is a best smoker, best griller and best overall. Then there is a winner for the amateur division, the professional division, a people's choice award (which is voted for by all the people who attend the event) and then the Champion of the Grill (the overall winner). Over the past few years we have won many awards from this competition including, the People's Choice Award in 2005, the Amateur Division in 2006 and 2008 and Champion of the Grill in 2006. Also, our pulled pork went undefeated for six years. We are grill masters and would love to cook for you!
